    • Neuropsychological Testing

The neuropsychological evaluation involves an interview and the administration of tests. It is a way of objectively assessing cognitive function and mental status. They can examine how brain damage and brain disorders affect the individual.

Tests are performed by a Clinical Neuropsychologist to determine possible dementia, delirium and/or depression, or if there are concerns that someone may be experiencing cognitive impairment, which may be the result of a brain injury or stroke, or a congenital in nature, such as in a child with suspected intellectual disabilities.
